Story board and Animatic

Below is my story board which lays out the general narrative and look I wish to achieve in my music video for Bad Company by JAWS. If you wish to see a shot by shot description of my music video please look a my blog post on my shot list.

Furthermore, I have created an animatic which present my storyboard in a more detailed and professional capacity. This animatic is embedded below.

So here we see in frame one a title which simply states the band name and the song name. I plan to keep this 1st shot as simple as possible. Then it will move onto the actual story of a 360 shot of the protagonist which cuts to him sliding everything off his desk in a rage. Moving swiftly onto the glass on the table smashing on the floor. He will then proceed to start drawing up blueprints for the whole plan.

Then we will see his drawings start to develop with a medium tracking shot going along the edge of the desk, which will move onto a time passing where we see a build up of good and bad plans. After this the camera will go to a birds eye view over the table of all the plans with the protagonist moving them round into the correct positions. then once the blueprints are over we will see a shot coming up from inside the caldron of the protagonist looking down with a menacing look.  

Finally, we will then see a montage of a variety of shots of the protagonist adding props to the caldron, which will eventually cut to a birds eye shot of the protagonist stirring the ingredients that finishes with shot of shadows with the rising monster that strikes down the protagonist which shall be viewed in a long shot. This will eventual end up with the whole film fading to black.
